Product Review: L'oreal Lumi Magique Foundation

I got this in Hong Kong so the name and packaging is slightly different. Instead of being called Lumi Magique, it's Lucent Magique. The glass bottle of the Lucent Magique is also taller than the Lumi Magique. But essentially they're the same product.

I have heard a few Youtube beauty gurus saying that this is a dupe for Nars sheer glow foundation. I don't know if this is true because I haven't tried the Nars one before. If it is then or those of you who love the Nars sheer glow, this is worth checking out since it is a third of the price of the Nars one.

The coverage is very buildable and one pump is enough for the entire face but maybe an extra half a pump will be needed for the neck. The finish is very skin-like and it gives you a bit of a glow but not anything shimmery or glittery. If you have dry skin, you might not even have to set this with a powder but since I have combination skin, it is a habit to just dust a bit of powder on.

Price wise I think it's on the more expensive side of drugstore makeup. L'Oreal is a more higher end on the drugstore spectrum. I do think you are definitely getting what you pay for though. It comes with 30mL of product and considering the fact that a little goes a long way, it's worth it.

The shade range isn't very impressive, on the boots website it is available in 7 shades.
